Aaron May

of 63 on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at OhioHealth Mansfield. Mr. Aaron May was born January 31, 1958, to the late Frank May and Rosa Lee May Crook in Mansfield, OH.

Aaron attended Crestview High School where he was a phenomenal athlete, excelling in basketball. Following graduation, he attended college for a short amount of time, then enlisted in the United States Army to serve his country. After his time in the Army, he returned to Mansfield and worked at Westinghouse and spent a lot of time volunteering for the VA.

Aaron leaves to cherish his two sons, Paul (Paula) Coleman of Charlotte, NC, and Julius D. Coleman of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren; two brothers: Selwyn “Skip” (Patricia) May of Maple Heights, OH, and Willie (Kellie) May of San Francisco, CA; a special niece, Hailey May of San Francisco, CA; four cousins: Mary, Helen, Eva and Delores Porter of Mansfield, OH; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by step-brother Charles Crook.
