
Addie 'Pearl' Stephens, 71, of Shiloh, died Sunday evening, November 5, 2006, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Born November 12, 1934, in Morehead, Kentucky, she was the daughter of William J. and Addie L. Royce Nickell. She was an area homemaker, avid gardener and quilter as well as a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by five children, Roy Diane Stephens of Mansfield, Mary Jane Brad Noblet of Bellville, Charlotte Jim Cunningham of Willard, William Sharon Stephens and Alice Greg Little, all of Plymouth; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold Maxine Nickell of Mansfield; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Norman and Luella Fox of Shiloh. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John E. Stephens in 1995, two sisters, Olla Mae Alfrey, and twin sister, Callie Jarvis, and three brothers, Robert, Acy and Carl Nickell.
Friends may call Wednesday, November 8 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 9 at the funeral home with Pastor Jay Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Shiloh.
