Adrienne C. "Andi" Campbell, 68, of Mansfield, passed away Monday morning, July 13, 2015, at OhioHealth MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. She was born September 12, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Joseph Jankowski and Yolanda (Centafanti) Jancen. Adrienne retired from CMP Corporation in 1999.
Andi, as she was affectionately called by family and friends, was a woman of courage and determination. Her giving spirit brought smiles of joy as she volunteered the past 15 years at Raemelton Therapeutic Equestrian Center. In addition, Andi enjoyed many good years as a pretty damn good golfer with the Happy Hackers Ladies League at Possum Run/Wooldridge Woods! Along with her dear husband, John, you could say she was quite passionate about the game of golf, and freely informed others of the PGA rules on more than one occasion! We will miss Andi's cheery "hello" every Monday night.
Andi is survived by her husband, John Campbell, and the three wonderful children she helped raise with love and care, Kelly (Bob) Holmes and Melody (Don) Longhofer, both of Houston, TX and John H. (Aimee) Campbell II of Ontario, OH. Andi shared her love with, and pride for, her grandchildren, Sydney, Chelsi, Jacob, Joshua, Samantha, Emilee, Peyton and Maren; her sister, Roberta Jancen of Orlando, FL, with whom she shared many sun drenched days and beautiful sunsets visiting in the "Sunshine State", along with her niece, Tammy Valencia. Andi was preceded in death by her parents.
A gathering of friends and family will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015, from 3-5 p.m. in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. A service celebrating Andi's presence in all our lives will begin at 5:00 p.m. Upon completion of the service, and according to Andi's wishes, refreshments will be served. Andi enjoyed people, their stories, their laughter and their love. Come say goodbye and salute a woman who fought the good fight for 16 years and listened to God's wishes to call her home. "Happy trails to you", you dear broad!
