Alan was a 1973 graduate of Willard High School and worked for Mansfield Local Schools. He was a loving and caring person who always made sure his family was taken care of. A fan of basketball and baseball, he coached baseball in Mansfield at Cyclops Field. The Kentucky Wildcats was his favorite basketball team.
He is survived by his daughter, Allynda Patterson; and his siblings, Joyce (Hugo) Bryan-Porter, Sandy (Albert) Durham, Marilyn Cochran, Clifford Patterson, Clinton Patterson and Terry (Sherry) Patterson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Tony Patterson and Anna Patterson.
There will be no services at this time. A memorial service is being planned for March 6, 2021 with a time to be determined.
