Alice M. Bailey, 93, of Ashland, died Sunday morning December 10, 2006, at Kingston of Ashland. Born March 10, 1913, in Ashland, she was the daughter of William and Anna Harnly Ludwick. Mrs. Bailey was a graduate of Ashland High School and attended Ashland College. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and AARP. She retired from A.L. Garber Company in 1975.
Surviving is a niece, Norma Simpson of Ashland. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter C. Bailey on November 12, 1983; and two sisters, Marie Emmons and Florence Taylor.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors with Pastor Dan Bilkert officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery, Sullivan. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church.
