

Allen Singleton, 53, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 in Galion. Born August 12, 1959 in Mansfield, he was the son Robert Smith and Mary Ann (Hellinger) Singleton. He had worked along with his brother in the construction and roofing business. He enjoyed working on cars and computers and loved fishing and mushroom hunting. A good hearted and kind man, he was a loving and wonderful father and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his fiancé, Kay Mosier of Galion; a son, Jeremy Singleton of Mansfield; a daughter, Ashley Singleton and her lifelong partner, Rodney Martin of Galion; grandchildren, Sylvia Martin and Karleigh Ison; a step-son, Tyler Mosier of Mansfield; two brothers, Titus (Tracey) Smith and Estel (Buffy) Smith all of Mansfield; two sisters, Starla Smith of Kentucky and Debbie Singleton of Mansfield; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives; and good friends, Josh Knipp and Derek Weaver both of Mansfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda (Daugherty) Singleton; and a brother, Brian Singleton.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the funeral home.
