Anacleto Ramirez

Anacleto Ramirez, 92, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at OhioHealth MedCentral Hospital. He was born on July 13, 1928 in McLennan County, Texas to the late Librado and Albina (Tenerio) Ramirez.

Cleto worked for Norfolk Ohio Railroad and later retired after 43 years of service. He loved taking care of his home by cleaning up the yard, mowing and cutting trees which were a few of the things he would do to keep his home looking immaculate. On May 13, 1988, Cleto married the love of his life, Mary Ramirez, spending over 60 wonderful years together. He enjoyed going to Volunteers with Mary, playing pool, checkers and taking walks in the outdoors.

Cleto is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; children, Ron Gonzales of Mansfield and Rose (Michael) Mabry of Mansfield; grandchildren, Pam, Christy, Jeanna, Katheryn, Cleo and Jesse; great-grandchildren, Ally and Ashleigh; great-great-grandchildren, Brantley, Nova and Thea; and brother, Benny (Sue) Ramirez of Shelby.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmy Ramirez; and sister, Juanita Santos.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to have served the family.
