

Ann E. Perdue, 68, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at MedCentral Mansfield. Born December 3, 1942 in Jonesboro, GA, she was the daughter of Walter and Alice (Williams) Perdue. A generous woman, Ann had a heart of gold.
She is survived by her children, Ivory (Brenda Horn) Perdue, Sr., James Edward (Stephanie) Caldwell, Terry (Amanda Jefferson) Riley, and LaTreva (Ron Wilson) Perdue, all of Mansfield; step daughter, Tonya Jones of Mansfield; seven grandchildren; aunt, Sarah Norwood of Jonesboro, GA; sisters-in-law, Sadie Perdue of Mansfield and Carolyn Perdue Catchings of Dayton; brother-in-law, Roscoe West of Alliance; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Loretta Norris, Jenny White, LaVonne Mathews and Sharon Adley. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Perdue ,Sr., Walter Perdue, Jr., and Floyd Perdue; sister, Katie West; and grandson, Corey Jones.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield, conducted by Elder Ronald Jester. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from12:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. The family will receive friends at the home of Anne’s daughter, LaTreva Perdue, 509 Louise Avenue.
