Anna Mae Rose, 74, of Mansfield died unexpectedly Tuesday, March 6, 2001 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Mrs. Rose was born March 4, 1927 in Mansfield living in the area all of her life. She enjoyed cross-stitch and crocheting. The family affectionately describes Mrs. Rose as ornery with an unusual sense of humor.
She is survived by a daughter, Marsha Rose Etzwiler of Mansfield; a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley & Dwaine Smith of Mansfield; a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne & Pat Bell of Mansfield; four granddaughters; ten great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her cat, Freddie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Myles S. & Sylvia M. Neptune Bell; her husband, Arlan D. Rose; two sons, Stanley D. and Roger Lee Rose; and a brother, William Bell.
