Annie Colleen Kent, 75, of Mansfield, died Thursday, December 8, 2005 at SCCI Hospital. Born July 12, 1930 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Charles and Leona Dyer Bryant. She lived in Mansfield the past 60 years and was employed with Essex Wire.
She is survived by her husband, Gabriel Kent; her children, Jim and Ella Jones, Dan and Fay Jones, Okemia Jones and Ivan Miller, Pam Gordon, and Susie and Willie Goodman; 27 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; sister, Fern A. Jackson; brother, Joe F. Bryant; and sister-in-law, Hattie Flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jewell Wilson; brother, Corbett Bryant; son, Casey James Jones, Jr.; grandson, Dan Jones, Jr.; two sisters-in-law, Eva Sykes, Mamie Kent; and brother-in-law, Richard Kent.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2005 in Mansfield Cemetery conducted by Rev. William Morris, Jr. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors.
