Barbara Barr, 57 of Mansfield died unexpectedly Monday evening, May 27, 2002 at her home. She was born June 29, 1944 to Fred Earl and Alice Jeannette Ness Barr in Mansfield. Barbara enjoyed bingo and bowling and was an area resident most of her life. She retired in January 2002 from Therm-O-Disc as a foreman and was currently working at The Waterford in food services.
She is survived by a brother, Fred E. Barr; four nieces, Robin Wiggin and Debbie Blankenship, both of Mansfield, Vicki Schroeder of Bentonville, Arkansas and Cindy Glenn of Walled Lake, Michigan; and a nephew, David Barr of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Alice Barr and one sister, Beverly Ann Barr Dunn.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Saturday, June 1 from 12-2 p.m. There will be no funeral services. Burial will be at Mansfield Memorial Park at a later date.
