Barbara Glass

Barbara Ann Sauer Glass, 56, of Mansfield, died Sunday morning, June 26, 2005 at home after a brief illness. Born March 31, 1949 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Albert H. and Lucille M. Zediker Sauer. She graduated from Ontario High School and attended The Father's Vineyard church. Barbara was a life member of V.F.W. Post #9943, where she was Poppy chairman and Flag Bearer, loved to line dance, and loved the challenge of jigsaw puzzles.

She is survived by her beloved husband, soul mate and sweetheart of 30 years, Terry Glass; son, Tommy Goble, Jr. of Mansfield; daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Matthew Small; stepdaughters, Jami Mabry and Kerri Glass; stepson, Michael Glass; seven step-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Madeline Sauer of Mansfield; sister, Patty Lang of Sandusky; brother-in-law, Larry Goble of Vinton, Ohio; aunt Margie Zediker; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Betty Smollen of Mansfield; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Vicky and Terry Wallace of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Cheryl Goble.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Spencer Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
