Barbara A. Mills

Barbara A. Mills, 73, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born October 27, 1944 in Grayson, Kentucky, she was the daughter of William Armstrong and June Avis (Sturgil) Armstrong Oyler.

Barbara was a 1962 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and earned a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Pilgrim College. She worked as a LPN at People's Hospital for 25 years and then at Elmcroft for 10 years. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church where she taught Sunday School and a Bible Study Class. She enjoyed going to auctions.

Barbara was a great lady with a heart of gold who loved to help others and she will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Mills whom she married December 4, 1971; a son, Scott Mills; a daughter, Danielle Mills; a brother, John Armstrong; a half sister, Marilyn Cunningham; a half brother, Tim Oyler; and two aunts, Mary Goldberg and Opal Leathem.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a half sister, Eloise Romans.

Friends may call from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 27, 2018 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Keith Carlisle. Burial will follow in Windsor Park Cemetery.
