
Barbara Zimmerman, 90, of Mansfield, died Sunday April 17, 2011 at MedCentral Mansfield. She was born October 28, 1920 in Nashville, Ohio to the late Frederick and Margaret Kasbaugh Mulhbach and was a Mansfield area resident most of her life. Barbara attended Diamond Hills Baptist Church. She was formerly employed as a waitress at Leland Hotel and cleaning lady at Wagner Hardware. Barbara loved picking wild berries, gardening, crocheting, knitting, quilting, sewing, and fishing.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Janet Muhlbach of Dalton, Ohio; niece Bonnie Sigler of Wooster, Ohio; and dear friends, Marie Brannon, Sarah Don Morris, and Gail and Cathy Fulk, all of Mansfield. She was an honorary grandmother to Issac, Catlyn, and Grant Fulk of Mansfield, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Eugene Bill Zimmerman; parents; brother, John Muhlbach; two half-sisters, Iola Baxter and Mamie Muhlbach; and five half-brothers, Mark Muhlbach, Nick Muhlbach, Harold Johnson, Fred Johnson, and Woodrow Johnson.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Diamond Hills Baptist Church, 647 S. Diamond St., Mansfield, conducted by Rev. Christopher Thomas. Burial will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diamond Hills Baptist Church.
