Betty Maxine Swartz Gushard, 79, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Winchester Terrace Nursing Home. Born February 9, 1929, in Upper Sandusky, she was the daughter of Ezra and Dortha Corbin Swartz. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are four sons, George Gushard, Jr. and his wife, Becki of Mansfield, David Gushard of Mansfield, Terry Gushard of Virginia and Lonnie Gushard of Mansfield; four daughters, Shirley Walter of Mansfield, Garlene Littleton of Perrysville, Connie Moore of Belle Center, OH and Gloria Blake of Mansfield; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; one sister, Carol of Marion; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, George Gushard, Sr. and her parents.
There will be no calling hours or services at this time. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Diretors is privileged to serve the family of Mrs. Gushard.
