Betty J. Neff, 81, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at her home. Born March 7, 1926 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Opediah K. and Flossie M. Shaeffer Wade. She retired from Mansfield General Hospital. Mrs. Neff enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting, knitting, going to flea markets, and playing cards.
She is survived by one son, Milo Bridges, Jr., of Mansfield; two daughters, Susan Borden and Twila Davis, both of Mansfield; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one sister, Ellen Martin of Mansfield; two brothers, Charles Wade, and Opediah Wade, Jr., both of Mansfield; and special friend, Cindy Scheiber. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Neff in 1994; two daughters, Ruth Ann and Shirley Kissel; a brother, Robert; and six sisters, Laura, Mary, Evelyn, Nora, Edith and Helen.
Graveside services will be held Monday, May 14, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Mansfield Cemetery conducted by Rev. Tom Finkey. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
