Bettylu Arnold

Bettylu Victoria Arnold, 59, of Mansfield, died Monday, November 24, 2008 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Born June 19, 1949 in Cleveland, she was the daughter of William T. and Betty R. Vail Sawyer. She was a member of Resurrection Parish. Bettylu was a devoted mother who lived for her family and adored her grandchildren. She loved to talk and had a strong will to live.

She is survived by her husband, Edward "Bud" Arnold; children, Kristen Mike Mottayaw, Kevin Kelley Arnold, all of Mansfield; Jeffrey Abby Arnold of Toledo, and Courtney Arnold of Columbus; grandchildren, Claudia Arnold and Alexander Mottayaw; step grandchildren, Gavin Carns, Leah, Beth, and Kelley Mottayaw, brother, William "Billy" Sawyer; and her beloved dog, Bailey. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2008 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Mansfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Resurrection Parish conducted by Father Nelson Beaver. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
