
Beverly Jean Garrison, 83, of Mansfield, passed away Tuesday morning, September 26, 2017, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born February 27, 1934, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Clarence and Marie (Hoover) Essick.
She loved to garden and be with her dogs and cats. Bev always rooted for the underdog and was an avid fan of Steve Harvey on Family Feud. She was very content being at home and attended Real Life Community Church.
Bev is survived by five children, Mike (Betty) Wynn, Karen (Jim) Pasheilich, Rick (Renea) Wynn, Todd Wynn (Peggy Adkins), and Beth Ann Behrendsen; fifteen grandchildren, Angie, Kelly, Teresa, Becky, Hollie, Melissa, Ricky, Lisa, Ryan, Todd, Charlie, Ellen, Ashley, Shane and Quinn; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Delores (Mel) Switzer; and brother, Buddy (Judy) Essick.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Hoover Kiley; father, Clarence Essick; her husband, Larry Garrison; a sister, Patricia Palm; and nephew, Charles Switzer.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2017, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Phil Green officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
