

An area resident most of his life, he was a brave Christian. He retired from Don Mowry Flexo, Inc. as a welder and also worked in the construction field and as a gardener. He loved to create wood carvings.
He is survived by one daughter, Sheila Jarvis of Mansfield; two step daughters, Deborah Parlett of Mansfield and Rhonda Patrick of Tennessee; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Burt Jarvis of Texas and Glenn Jarvis of Mansfield; and three sisters, Doris Blevins of Indiana, Leola Carrol of Hayesville and Ruth Henderson of Arizona.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Callie (Nickell) Jarvis; an infant daughter, Regina; a daughter, Vicki Orweiler; three brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home on Monday.
