Brandon Drake

Brandon Timothy Drake, 18, of Mansfield, died early Saturday, March 13, 2004. He was born October 22, 1985, in Mansfield and was an area resident his entire life. Brandon was a senior at Clear Fork High School. He loved cars, racing quads, and hanging out with his friends.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Dana Metzger Shenberger and Victor Shenberger of Mansfield; his father, Tim Drake and Carman of Mansfield; a sister, Hanna Shenberger; a brother, Noah Drake; grandparents, Shirley Parlette of Mansfield, Newt Thomas of Arizona, Jessie and Juanita Drake of Mansfield; step-grandparents, Pat and Val Shenberger of Mansfield and Cynthia Metzger of Tennessee; aunts and uncles, Bobbie and Shawn McNamara, Colby and John Leedy, Rex and Beth Southard, all of Mansfield, Norton and Penny Southard of Lexington, Jim and Dana Shenberger, Randy and Angie Shenberger, Steve Shenberger all of Mansfield, Tonya Mace of Shelby, and David Metzger of Mansfield; and cousins, Thunder, Sharley, Ethan, Bruce, Hunter, Noah, Derek, Olivia, Douglas, Maghen and Des. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam Metzger and Charles Southard, stepmother, Kathleen Drake, and great-grandparents, Altaie and Eula Bowman.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Tuesday, March 16 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services conducted by Pastor Chris DeLozier will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
