

Bruce "Spanky" D. Hale, 63, of Lexington, Ohio passed away on January 31, 2021 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. He was born in Fleming County, Kentucky on August 11, 1957 to the late John and Martha (Howard) Hale.
Bruce loved his family, especially his grandkids, and his dogs, Bozer, Duke, Blue and Penny and cats, Stormy and Sylvester. As family was most important to him, he cherished their time together. Bruce would tell his niece, Angie, he hit the jackpot the day he married the love of his life, Ginger. Bruce was a sports fanatic and a huge fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians along with the Kentucky Wildcats and Ohio State University Buckeyes.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Ginger; step-daughter, Amber Casdorph-Pugh; three grandchildren, Leila, Jordan and Caleb; three brothers, Richard (Nida) Hale-Anchorage; Chuck (Terri) Sydnor and Richard (Tara) Sydnor; sister, Betty Caira; sister-in-law, Tonya Sydnor; and several nieces and nephews. He had several cherished life long friends.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his in-laws, Richard and Carol Sydnor; brother, John Hale; and brothers-in-law, Phil Sydnor and Rick Caira.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Richland County Kidney Center.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the family.
