
Carl R. Crisp, 67 of Mansfield, died Saturday November 11, 2000 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Crisp was born February 22, 1933 in Ashland, Kentucky living in the Mansfield area since 1970. He was retired as an electrician, and belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles #336, American Legion Post 16, VFW, the West Salem, Ohio Masons F&AM, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are two sons and one daughter in law; Brian and Stephanie Crisp, and Phillip Crisp, all of Mansfield; two daughters, Carla and Georgetta Crisp, both of Mansfield; one step daughter, Kimberly Moore of Columbus, Ohio; two grandchildren, Hanna and Connor Crisp of Mansfield; three step grandchildren, Cody, April, and Morgan Moore of Columbus, Ohio, and two sisters; Rosamand Anderson of Mansfield, and Claire Rice of Brooksville, Florida. Mr. Crisp was preceded in death by his parents, George and Carrie Marie Dugan Crisp; three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday November 14, 2000 from 3-7 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 15, 2000 at 10:30 am at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Curtiss Wagner. Military graveside services will be held at Mansfield Cemetery.
