Carl Weber

Carl D. Weber, age 77, of Mansfield, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at Crystal Care Center in Mansfield. He was born February 22, 1935 in Lodi, Ohio to the late Carl and Bernice (Milkey) Weber.

Carl retired from PPG on February 28, 1997 after 32 years of service. He was a member of Resurrection Parish, Mansfield Men’s Garden Club, Karlin Hall and the Mansfield Liederkranz. Carl also was a 4-H advisor for many years.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 52 years, Margaret A. Howarth Weber whom he married on October 22, 1960. Also surviving are a daughter, Peggy A. Scheid of Mansfield; son, Carl M. Weber of Kalamazoo, MI; three grandchildren, Beth (Mark) Hedrick, Bobby Coffin and Jessica Scheid; one great-grandchild, Maddie Hedrick; a sister, Mary (Ronnie) Casto of Lodi, OH; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Maria Weber; and a brother, Albert Weber.

Friends and family may visit from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. A Vigil Service will be observed at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial conducted by Father Nelson Beaver will be held in Resurrection Parish, Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galion, OH.
