Carol Bauer

Carol Ann Bauer, 58, of Lucas, Ohio, died Tuesday afternoon, June 17, 2008, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born September 1, 1949, she was the daughter of William and Virginia Quantance Bauer. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Volunteers of America. She attended New Hope Community Church of Loudonville. Carol enjoyed everything outdoors including camping, fishing, and skiing. She also had a love for her many pets.

She is survived by her parents, William and Virginia, Mansfield; daughter Lane Evans and her fiancé, Don Allen, both of Rexburg, Idaho; son, Andrew Evans, Idaho Falls, Idaho; granddaughter, Eliza Evans, Rexburg, Idaho; aunts, Beverly and Charles Bauer, Dorothy Layman, Mansfield; nieces, Kelley and Del Thomas, Ashland, and Denise Roark, Tennessee; special friends, Tom and Debra Caugherty of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Regula in 1993.

Family and friends may call from 5-7 p.m., Sunday, June 22, 2008, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Jim Ford. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ.
