Carol Yunker-Duval

Carol (Ward) Yunker-Duval was born on January 25, 1940 in Mansfield, Ohio, the daughter of David and Agnes (France) Ward. She graduated in 1958 from Mansfield Senior High School and worked 21 years for the Kroger Company where she retired and made many friends. She was a member of the Amvets Post #26 Auxiliary. She loved watching the deer, turkeys and wild animals in her back yard but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother and friend.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Gale Yunker; a daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Joe Potoczny; four grandchildren, Jeremie Yunker, David Yunker, Kaiti Potoczny and Joey Potoczny; five great grandchildren all of Mansfield; a brother-in-law, Don (Diane) Yunker of Virginia; and a sister-in-law, Kathy Trogdan of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Agnes Ward, her sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Dean Fighter, one infant brother, David and one great grandson, Jeffery Yunker.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Patrick Bailey. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
