Chad Ward

Chad Ward, 30, of Mansfield, died Tuesday evening October 2, 2007 at MedCentral Hospital following a brief illness. Chad passed away with his family and friends by his side. He was born October 28, 1976 in Mansfield, but also resided in the Clearwater, Florida area for some time. He was employed at Hunter Manufacturing in Ontario. Chad was a very genuine person with wonderful values. He enjoyed taking care of his family and extended family. Chad loved his Honda Motorcycle, and the time it allowed him to spend with his wife on little trips. He will be deeply missed by his family and close friends.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy Ward of Mansfield; two daughters and a son-in-law, Angela & Dane Lester and Tabitha Simpson; a son, Steven Simpson; four grandchildren, Dominic, Daniel, & Alexis Lester and Brendan Simpson; his father, Kenneth Ward; his step-mother, Naola Ward; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Tim & Lisa Ward, Ken & Judy Ward, Todd & Nikki Ward and David Ward; nine nieces & nephews, Cameron, Collin, Caden, Robbie, Andrew, Collin, Randi, Heather and Brian Ward; his grandparents, Nola Osborn, and Rebecca & Jay Dalton; and a number of friends in our area & Florida. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Ward, and grandfathers, Harold Osborn and Edsel Ward.

Memorial services will be Saturday, October 27 at 6:00 p.m. at Mansfield Faith Assembly with Pastor Don Wilson officiating. Friends may call at the church from 5-6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in care of Mechanics Savings Bank, where a special fund has been established.
