

Charles Richard McCauley, 53, of Mansfield, died Saturday afternoon, March 19, 2005, at his sister's residence. He was born May 19, 1951 in Weston, West Virginia to Brannon and Mary Claypoole McCauley and was a Mansfield resident since 1980. He was employed at Richland Newhope Industries as a laborer.
He is survived by a brother, Dewey McCauley of Weston, West Virginia; two sisters, Shirley McCauley and Ellen and Robert Ousley all of Mansfield; five nephews, Brannon and Stephanie Collier, Carl and Lori Collier, Dustin Merle, Cory Merle, Andrew Merle all of Mansfield; four nieces, LaQuaya Merle, Marrianna McCauley, Marissa Garrett all of Mansfield and Angelina Ross of Weston, West Virginia; aunts and uncles, Burt and Norma Claypoole of Bellville, Leonard and Betty Claypoole of Mansfield, Jay and Frances Reid of Mansfield; special friend Jerry Tachett of Mansfield; and several cousins. His parents, brother, Loren B. McCauley, and sister, Carla McCauley preceded him in death. Charles had many close friends at Newhope and touched many lives during his lifetime, he will be missed.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, one hour prior to the services. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Jerry Claypoole. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
