Charles A. Workman, Sr., age 45, of 816 Ferndale Rd., died Monday, January 15, 2001 at MedCentral Mansfield after an extended illness. Mr. Workman was born May 10, 1955 in Mansfield and has been a lifelong resident. He was a Dance Instructor and owned various Arthur Murray Dance Studios and won various competitions throughout the United States. He was also a veteran of the United States Marines.
Surviving are his mother, Goldie Pearl Fields Workman of Mansfield; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jesse James and Kristy Stimens, Charles Arnold & Angela Workman, Jr., and Raymond Frazee, all of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Tommy, Jess, Marilyn, and Michelle; two brothers and sister-in-law, Leslie Theodore Workman, II and Lewis and Mary Workman, all of Mansfield; one sister, Drema Aukerman of Mansfield and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Theodore Workman, Sr., one daughter, Aleisha Workman, and a sister-in-law, Dian Workman.
There will no calling hours or funeral services. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
