

He moved to Mansfield in 1956 and was a valued team member of Mrs. B's Country Kitchen. He enjoyed learning about history and watching educational videos. Clifford was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Mansfield. He was a very determined man who knew what he wanted from life. He was a "people person" and never met a stranger. His patient nature and positive outlook were evident in his every day life. Clifford had a very close and supportive family and friend network and was always willing to help resolve an issue or solve a problem. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. The love of his life for 23 years was his partner, Barbara Diehm. They stood by and for one another in every aspect of life and treasured the gift of each other.
He is survived by a daughter, Tammy Boggs; three granddaughters, including special granddaughter Haley Partridge, Raina Kelly and Lainey Kelly; two brothers, George Boggs and Cecil Boggs; three sisters, Ilda Stallard, Rosalee Bradshaw and Janetta Huffman; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved partner, Barbara Diehm; two brothers, Berl Boggs and Roy Boggs; and a sister, Christine Hanshaw.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service conducted by Minister Eldin Mays will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in care of the family to assist with funeral costs.
