

Clifford Jack Collins, age 83, passed away Friday morning, February 1, 2019, at Dayspring Assisted Living and Care Facility in Mansfield. He was born May 22, 1935, in West Virginia, to the late Dennis R. and Lucille B. Collins.
He was very outgoing and enjoyed being with family and friends. He enjoyed organizing events for get togethers with family and friends. Jack was very active when he was young and was an outdoor man. He enjoyed pitching horseshoes and became quite good over the years. Jack was employed as a truck driver for many years. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a member of the Amvets and Moose Lodge.
Jack is survived by three sons, Jack Jr. (Stacie) Collins, Bill Collins and Bob (Elizabeth) Collins, all of Mansfield; a daughter, Jennifer (Brian) Dickerson; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Collins; numerous nieces and nephews; and very close friends, John and Carol Ratliff of Mansfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Collins; two sons, Thomas Collins and Dennis Collins; and two brothers, Fred Collins and Jim Collins.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. Additional visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 6 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Ontario Cemetery.
