

Clifford L. Webb, 79, of 790 McPherson St. died Thursday evening June 1, 2000 at Mansfield Memorial Homes following a brief illness. Mr. Webb was born August 24, 1920 in Dexter, Missouri living in Mansfield most of his life. He retired after 44 years of service with White Westinghouse. Mr. Webb was a life member of Amvets Post 26, Charter member of International Radio Patrol, and was a 30 year retired member of Mansfield Police Auxiliary. He was a WWII veteran serving in the US Navy.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ken & Vicki Webb of Mansfield; two granddaughters, Angela and her husband Michael Ray, and Amanda Rickert all of Mansfield; one grandson and his spouse, Rodney Rickert and Stephanie Adkins; four great-grandchildren, Alexis, Victoria, Emily and Kennedy; one sister and brother-in-law, Midge and Jack Fry; one brother and sister-in-law, Ike and Eleanor Webb of Mansfield; four sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law and two very special adopted sons, Steven Frontz and Allen Vandayburg both of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, Issac and Ellen Back Webb, his wife; Lucille Webb, a sister; Violet, and a daughter Francis.
Friends may call The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Monday, June 5, 2000 from 2 '4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2000 at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Military services will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
