Dale Kithcart

Dale Kithcart, 72, of Ashland, died Sunday evening, February 6, 2005, at Samaritan Regional Health System. Born September 12, 1932, in Ashland County, he was the son of Gloyd Franklin and Harriet Leola Kindall Kithcart. A lifetime area resident, he retired from Pioneer National Latex and Ashland Rubber Products where he worked in the maintenance department. He attended Savannah Presbyterian Church and enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling and hunting. He was a member of the Eagles, Moose, Amvets, American Legion, and the Ashland Masonic Lodge. He served with the 16th Signal Corps of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Wells Kithcart; two daughters and a son-in-law, Diana and Tim Shireman of Perrysville, LuAnn Kithcart of Ashland; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Michelle Kithcart of Ashland; seven grandchildren, Jason Myers, April Baldner, Brandy and Buddy Hales, Thomas Kithcart, Jr., Ashley Kithcart, Christopher Kithcart and Buddy Kithcart; three great-grandchildren, Alex and Savannah Lundell and Mason Myers; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dean and Lois Kithcart of Sebastian, Florida, Frank and Rose Kithcart of Ashland; and a sister and brother-in-law, Arline and Don Sorrell of Old Town, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Dana Luzader.

Friends may call at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Wednesday, February 9 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Derek Marotta. Military graveside services conducted by Ashland Veteran's Honor Guard will follow at Ashland County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Ashland County Cancer Association.
