Dale Reed

Dale Lawrence Reed, 71 of 330 Harlan Rd. died October 3, 2000 in Poland, Ohio following an extended illness. Mr. Reed was born March 3, 1903 in Mansfield being a life long resident. He retired from Westinghouse in 1987 and was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church. He was a member of VFW Post #9943 and the American Legion. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict.

Surviving are his step-mother, Charlotte Reed of Mansfield; one daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Kenny McIntyre of New Middletown, Ohio; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Ray and Valerie Reed of Poland, Ohio and Terry Reed of Edenton, North Carolina; six grandchildren; one sister, Maxine Sipe of Mansfield; and one brother, Bob Reed of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Allen Reed; and one granddaughter.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Randy Wyant. Military graveside services will be held at Mansfield Memorial Park conducted by the Joint Veteran Council Burial Detail.
