
Daniel W. Kline, 71, of Lexington, died Saturday, August 23, 2008 at his home. Born March 13, 1937, he was the son of Harold and DaLea Hassinger Kline. He worked for Ohio Brass for 18 years and retired from Sprint after 13 years of service. Daniel was an active member of the United Methodist Church of the Cross where he served on several committees. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #56 and played on the Elks Golf League at Twin Lakes and the Elks Bowling League at Park Lanes. Daniel was proud of his hole-in-one at Oak Tree Golf Course.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Whiteleather Kline; daughter, Karen Jeff Watt of Harleysville, PA; grandchildren, Jamie Watt of Crofton, MD, Ashley Watt of Media, PA, and Elizabeth Watt of Harleysville, PA; brother, Tom Kathy Kline of Crestline; sister, Judy John Berger of Crestline; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Dave Hamilton of Mansfield.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Pat Byrd.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Lyle Hinkle. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice.
