David Henry

He was a 1972 graduate of Mansfield Senior High, a 1976 graduate of Miami University and graduated from The Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 1979. Dave owned a dental practice in Mansfield for 33 years, where he worked with his daughter, Gail, also a dentist. Early in his career, he served as a dentist for the United States Public Health Service on the Fort Peck Reservation in Poplar, Montana. He has been a board member of the Crestview Educational Foundation since its inception.

Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, flying small airplanes and being outdoors. He was a lifetime member of St. John's United Church of Christ. Dave was a loving husband and father. He is remembered by friends and family as a gentle man with a generous soul.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Browning Henry, whom he married July 16, 1979; a son, Brian (Regan) Henry of Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter, Gail Henry of Columbus, Ohio; a grandson, Olin Chamberlain Henry; his mother, Beatrice Stuckey Henry; a brother, Jim (Debby) Henry; a sister, Judy (Dennis) Figley; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles A. and Betty White Browning; brothers-in-law, Greg (Jeanne) Browning and Bob (Emily) Browning; a sister-in-law, Joan (Perry) Passen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Chamberlain Henry, Jr.

Private graveside services will be held for the family in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ or to the Crestview Educational Foundation, P.O. Box 1701, Mansfield, OH 44901.
