David was born in Mansfield, Ohio on August 14, 1951. He was the son of Wilbur and Eva (Erickson) Humphrey. David retired from General Motors, and was a veteran in the United States Army. He enjoyed muscle cars, building model airplanes, and he was into remote control planes, tanks and boats.
He is survived by his daughter, Wendy Eberling of Lenoir, North Carolina; his grandchildren, Chyna (Josh) Yount, Joseph David Tremer, and Kelsey Eberling; his great grandchildren, Theo and Ezra Yount and Jasper Gray; his sisters, Vicki (Eric) Porch of Mansfield, Roxanna (Jeffrey) Adkins of Willard, and Diane Logan of Ashland; and his brother, Mark (Marsha) Humphrey of New London. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Douglas Humphrey.
Graveside services will be held at Mansfield Memorial Park on Monday, March 8, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family of David Humphrey.
