

David Brian Lemming, 64, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 8, 2024. He was born on September 20, 1959, to George (Bud) L. and Marilyn J. (Carle) Lemming in Mansfield, Ohio. David served in the United Sates Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist and remained very patriotic as a member of the AMVETS Post 26, Eagles 336, and OWLS Nest 1152. As a member of the VFW Post 3494 Color Guard, he marched in the Federal Holiday Parades each year. Family was very important to David and was a great cook, so he loved entertaining and feeding family, friends, and veterans. He enjoyed working and playing outside, landscaping and golfing. David loved classic rock music and was a huge Cleveland Browns, OSU Football, and Indians fan.
David is survived by the love of his life, Colleen Lemming and fur-baby, Arca; siblings: Constance Lemming, Christine (Marco) Lemming-Rojas, Stephen (Elizabeth) Lemming, Kathleen Lemming, and Brian (Monica) Lemming; mother-in-law, Shirley Wright; sisters-in law, Nancy Lemming, Barbara (Christopher Kuhn) Morello, Diane Morello-Moleno, and Lori (Jerry) Davis; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Marilyn Lemming; brothers: George Terrance Lemming and Paul Lemming; father-in-law: Clyde L. Wright, Jr.; sisters-in-law: Christine Lukkarila and Michele Wright; and nephew: Nathan Brauchler.
David will be interred at a private ceremony held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Military Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
