Donald W. Watson, 75, of Mansfield died Wednesday evening, April 30, 2003 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. He was born December 27, 1927 in Alliance, Ohio to Wayne and Thelma Huffman Watson. Donald owned and operated Watson Vacuum Cleaners in Ashland for 40 years with his son. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Bays Watson; a son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Katherine Watson of Lucas; a grandson, Sean Watson and his girlfriend, Tracy Grimes of Mansfield; a granddaughter, Holly Watson of Jeromesville; a sister, Beverly Hinson of Minerva, Ohio; two half-brothers, Gene Watson of Galion and Bill Hahn of Alliance; and a half-sister, Ila Oyster of Minerva. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Watson; and a half-brother, Robert Hahn.
