Donna Matheny

Donna Mae Guill Matheny, 78, passed away late Tuesday evening, October 5, 2010 at Crystal Care Center of Mansfield. Born June 6, 1932 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of the late Mae Weibling and Curtis Ute. Donna was an area homemaker her entire life. She enjoyed camping, gardening and canning. Donna was a very friendly woman and never met a stranger. She was a life member of AMVETS Post #31 Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Dean Matheny; sons, Raymond L. Guill and Curtis A. Guill, both of Mansfield; grandchildren, Nicole Chris Hershberger and Kari Brian Foley; numerous great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Robert Lee Vickie Matheny and Daryl Cheryl Matheny, both of Fredericktown and Melinda Mae 'Mindy' Joseph Rose of Crestline; one step granddaughter; a brother, Donald Ute of Mansfield; and sister, Eileen Sowash of CA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl P. Guill, Jr.

Honoring Donna's wishes, there will be no services or calling hours. Burial will be at a later date in Mansfield Cemetery. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Mrs. Matheny. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
