Doris Prince

Doris E. Prince, 80, died early Friday morning, October 10, 2008, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born August 15, 1928, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of George and Margaret Roerich Loch. Doris had previously worked at Dominion Electric. She enjoyed playing Bingo, bowling, playing the organ and most of all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Budd Alma Schmidt and William A. Schmidt, all of Mansfield; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five brothers, George Betty Loch of FL, Bill Betty Loch of FL, Joe Loch and his companion, Doris White of Galion, Ray Janet Loch of Galion and John Loch of Mansfield; two sisters, Marie Waleri of CA and Carol Loch of AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Prince in 1986; parents; sister, Helen Weber; and great-grandson, Jackson Schmidt.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St. with Rev. Christopher Thomas officiating. Friends may call from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Shenandoah Cemetery at a later date.
