Doris Robertson

Doris Jean Behon Robertson, 75, of Mansfield, died Monday, November 16, 2009, at Winchester Terrace Nursing Home. Born November 10, 1934, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of John and Goldie Mellott Behon. A homemaker, Doris enjoyed cooking and baking, especially for the holidays, feeding the people that she loved. She also enjoyed playing bingo and Pekinese dogs, but her pride and joy was her family and grandchildren.

Surviving are her mother, Goldie Behon of Stoystown, PA; daughter, Terri Joe, Sr. Beatty of Mansfield, and their children, Joe, Jr. and Chelsea Beatty; daughter, Kristie Kempton of Antioch, TN and her children, Ashley Dalton and Mike Kempton; and daughter, the late Linda Eberling's children, Theresa Gary Vaughn and Melanie Aberts; daughter, Shari Robertson of Mansfield and daughter, Cynthia Charles Morrow of Vero Beach, FL and their children, John and Tiffany Morrow; several great grandchildren; a brother, John Dorothy Behon of Rootstown, OH; three sisters, Peggy Jim Dunn of Jennerstown, PA, Gail Robert Overbeck of Somerset, PA and Janice Robert Frazier of Stoystown, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Robertson in 2000; a daughter, Linda Eberling; and her father.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2009, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield, conducted by Rev. Cloyd Kress. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
