Dorothy "Dot" Emma Harrison

Dorothy was born January 30, 1927, in Marysville, Ohio, to George and Harriet (Fleck) Hartson. Her father was killed in a motorcycle accident when she was 3 years old. She attended Mansfield schools and graduated from Madison High School in 1945.

Dorothy married George C. Trease on January 19, 1946. They had three sons: Ronald W., Robert L, and James W. They moved to Galion in 1954 where she worked as a secretary for Spitzer Motors for a few years. She then went work at South Elementary School in Galion for 3 years. Dorothy became the secretary at Galion Junior High School in 1960 until 1967. She then was employed by Cleland Manufacturing as secretary/bookkeeper until her retirement at age 62. Dorothy enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting, and making jewelry.

Her husband, George Trease preceded her in death in 1970. Dorothy then married James D. Campbell on October 27, 1973. James preceded her in death. Dorothy then married Clayton L. Harrison on July 3, 1994. Clayton preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her son, Ronald.

She is survived by her sons, Robert and James; and five grandchildren, Grace, Robert, Matthew, Thomas, and Rachel.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2021, in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Mike Ziadeh at 1:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery.
