
Dorothy 'Dot' Neville Stevens, 53, died suddenly Saturday, July 8, 2006. Born March 14, 1953 in Pomeroy, Ohio, she was the daughter of Raymond and Betty Fredrick Russell. She attended Bellville Free Will Baptist Church. Dorothy was employed with Woodlawn Nursing Home. She loved the Lord and her family, especially her grandbabies. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Dorothy was full of life, always had a smile, and was ready to help anyone in need. Dorothy enjoyed working with her flower garden and reading her bible. She also enjoyed lending a helping hand.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy Stevens; mother and stepfather, Betty and Walt Hayes; three daughters, Teresa Danny Brewster of Shelby; Lisa Wayne Vest of Pebbles, Loraina Marty Hutton of Rutland; one son, Cody Neville of Shelby; six brothers, Danny, Tony, Rodney, and Scott Russell, Gerald, and John Moore; three sisters, Debbie Johnson, Lora Stone, and Mary Moore; many aunts and uncles; grandchildren, Krystal, Shane, MJ, Brittany, Tabitha, and Danyail; one great grandbaby on the way; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Junior and Janet Stevens of Mansfield; and many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Russell; first husband, Sterling Neville; and son-in-law, Fred Neville.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at Bellville Free Will Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Bruce Copley. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Shelby. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
