
Douglas Hugh Hall, 84, of Olathe, Kansas, died August 15, 2002 at Indian Creek Nursing Home in Overland Park, Kansas following an extended illness. Mr. Hall was born December 31, 1917 in Detroit, Michigan living most of his life in Warsaw, Indiana and in Kansas the last three years. He was retired as a car salesman after 35 years, most recently with Rice Ford of Warsaw, Indiana. Doug attended St. Peter's Catholic Church and was a member of the American Legion. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the U.S. Army.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Martha and James Hetz of Olathe, Kansas; three grandchildren, Brian and his wife, Sally Hetz of Mansfield, Hilary Hetz and J.D. Hetz, both of Olathe, Kansas; one sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Richard Pfaller, Mishawaka, Indiana; and ten nieces and nephews of Mishawaka, Indiana, New York and Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene M. Raderstorf Hall; parents, Homer Hugh and Bertha Abigail Arms Hall; and brother, J.D. Hall.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to graveside services that will begin at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 20 at Mansfield Catholic Cemetery. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Richland County Joint Veteran Council Burial Detail. Memorial contributions may be made the Hospice of North Central Ohio.
