Edna Stewart

Edna I. Stewart, age 82, of 1280 Mifflin Twp Rd. 1706, Ashland, Ohio, died Wednesday January 19, 2000 at Samaritan Regional Health System, Ashland following an extended illness.  Mrs. Stewart was born October 24, 1917 in Waterloo, Illinois living in the Mansfield area since 1939.  She retired from Richland Hospital.  Mrs. Stewart attended Diamond Hills Cathedral.

Surviving are a daughter, Carol J. Rickey of Ashland; two grandsons and their spouses, James & Rhonda Rickey of Denham Springs, Louisana and Mike & Candise Chase and of Ft. Myers, Florida; a granddaughter, Jennifer Rickey of Ashland; four great-grandchildren, Amanda, & Miranda Rickey Denham Springs, Louisana, Kenneth James Rickey of Ashland and Hannah Chase of Ft. Myers, Florida; a sister, Rose Zigler of Mansfield; two nephews, Paul McLaughlin of Mansfield, David and his wife, Penny McLaughlin of Mansfield; and a niece, Sally Jessee of Mansfield.  She was preceded in death by her parents, William  Farhety & Theckla Anna Jehling;  a brother, Arnold Fischer and a niece, Bonnie Ellen Faye.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Friday from 6-8 p.m.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 22, 2000 at 1:00 p.m., conducted by Rev. Charles Carrier.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's Choice.  Burial will be held at later date.
