

He was a member of North Woodbury Alliance Church. Ed worked at Tappan Corp. for 31 years and drove a school bus for both Lexington and Ontario schools for over 20 years. He enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, fishing and attending church. His favorite activity was being with his grandchildren and visiting family.
Ed is survived by a son, Scott Phillips; four grandchildren, Lindsay (Cristian) Bryant, Kylie (Nick) Corey, Rhett Phillips and Josh Phillips; five great-grandchildren, Aiden Corey, Kolton Corey, Kelcie Corey, Declan Bryant, and Emilee Phillips; two brothers, Bill Phillips and Hal Phillips; a sister, Wilma McQuistion; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Albright Phillips; son, Todd Phillips; and brothers, Richard Phillips, Wayne Phillips and JR Phillips.
A memorial service conducted by Pastor Cory Schnuerer will be held at North Woodbury Alliance Church, 6385 State Route 314, Mount Gilead, Ohio at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 25, 2020. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.
