Edward Walters

Edward E. Walters, age 50, of 657 W. Longview Dr., died Friday, February 18, 2000 at Ohio State University Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Walters was born April 6, 1949 in Mansfield, Ohio and has been a lifelong resident.  He was a member of Clear Fork Valley Wesleyan Church in Butler, OH and a member of the Bellville VFW. Surviving are his wife, Viola Walters of Mansfield, OH; two daughters and sons-in-law; Lorri and Jason Homerick of Butler, Melissa and Jeremy Moss of Fredericktown, OH, one son; Jason Walters of Butler, OH, three stepdaughters; Lori and spouse Carl Collier, Dusty Carman, and Angela Skaggs, all of Mansfield, OH, one stepson; Joshua Skaggs of Mansfield, OH, one sister; Gloria Jean Davis of Arizona, one brother; Rick and spouse Lori Walters of Fredericktown, OH, his father; Robert E. Walters of Bellville, numerous nieces and nephews, seven grandchildren; Justin, Rebekah, Hannah, Zachary Homerick, Brandon, Karalina and Miranda Moss, one step-granddaughter; Alissa Collier. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine Partin Walters.Friends may call at the Diamond street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Monday, February 21, 2000 from 2-4 pm and again from 6-8 pm.  Funeral services will be held at Clear Fork Valley Wesleyan Church located at St. Rte. 97, Butler, OH on Tuesday, February 22, 2000 at 1:00 pm. There will be a dinner following the ceremonies. Burial will be at Bellville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
