Elaine E. Wyrick, 93 died Sunday, November 20, 2005, at Lexington Court Care after a brief illness. Born May 22, 1912 in West Virginia, she was the daughter of Will and Molly Lawson Scott. She moved to Mansfield in 1940, and had also lived in Texas for 18 years, returning to Ohio in 1991. Mrs. Wyrick had worked 25 years at Dominion Electric. She enjoyed bowling, watching the Dallas Cowboys, dancing and reading.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Marjorie Lois and Carl Crider of Ontario, Jean Leach of Shrewsport, Louisiana; two sons and daughter-in-law Jerry and Peg Wyrick of Waynesboro, Tennessee, and Jim Wyrick of Mansfield; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, two brothers; son, Charles Edward; and granddaughter, Sherry Wyrick.
Private family services conducted by Dr. Clair H. Hess and Rev. James Winkler will be held at a later date. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ontario United Methodist Church.
