Eldora McCaskey

Eldora McCaskey, 83, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at OSU Medical Center after a brief illness. Born October 16, 1924 in Butler, she was the daughter of Dr. Elmer E. Lofquist and Dr. Linnie B. Willson Lofquist. She retired from Lumbemens Mutual Insurance and Prudential Insurance after 20 years of service. She was currently working as a bookkeeper for Bucket Seat in Lexington. Eldora was a member of the Ohio Genealogical Society, and the Knox County and Richland County Genealogical Societies.

She is survived by son, Brian D. McCaskey of Cape Canaveral, Florida; daughters, Turlene Frank Nestich of Loudonville, Carol Rick Yount of San Antonio, Texas, and Jeanne Steve Marino of Cranberry Twp., Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Eleanor Jay Walker of Bellville, and Dorothea Lofquist of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. McCaskey on March 28, 1993; and her parents.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2008 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Rick Wiseman. Private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Les Feldick Ministries, 30706 West Lona Valley Rd., Kinta, Oklahoma 74552.
