Elizabeth McGinty

Elizabeth Janine Mumaw Beth McGinty, 46, of Mansfield died early Wednesday morning at Crestwood Care Center in Shelby following a five month illness.  Beth was born September 21, 1953 in Akron, OH residing in the Mansfield area most of her life.  She was a 1971 graduate of Madison High School and attended college in Florida.  She worked in an office for a time as a Medical Transcriptionist and was a waitress in a number of Mansfield restaurants.

Surviving are her husband, John D. McGinty; her parents, Julius & Vivian Nemeth of Gnadenhutten, OH; her mother-in-law & father-in-law, Jean & Earnest McGinty of Mansfield; two daughters, Amy Swafford of North Carolina & Andrea Cannizzaro of Florida; one son, Aaron Nemeth of North Carolina; four step-sons, Billy & Timmy Bigler and Stephen & Edward McGinty all of Mansfield; two brothers, Mike Mumaw of Mansfield and Larry Mumaw of Arizona; two sisters, Jennifer Miner of North Carolina & Clair Williamson of Mansfield; a number of nieces & nephews; and many good friends.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Friday February 4, 2000 from 7-9 p.m.  Funeral services will be held Saturday February 5, 2000 at 10:30 a.m., conducted by Rev. Clifford E. Tackett.  Burial will be held in Mansfield Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
